MiTeC EXE Explorer Description
MiTeC EXE Explorer is a lightweight Windows utility built specifically for helping you gather information about executable files.
Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to analyze the file properties for executable files.
MiTeC EXE Explorer offers support for the following file formats: EXE, DLL, OCX, DRV, AX, VXD, SCR, BPL, DPL, CPL, and others.
The program sports a clean and intuitive layout that gives users the possibility to add files to the list by using the built-in browse function, so you cannot rely on the “drag and drop†support.
It is important to mention that hotkeys are also available for a better control over the entire process but they cannot be reassigned.
Once you have uploaded a file, MiTeC EXE Explorer automatically displays the information about it, namely property details (e.g. magic number, pages in files, relocations, checksum, signature, machine, timestamp, number of symbols), as well data about virtual address and size, raw data size, flags, and directories.
The application also reveals details about resources (e.g. cursor, bitmap, icon, string, version), strings, flags, thread local storage, version info (product version, file, description, copyright, comments, product and company name), as well as Hex information.
What’s more, you can perform search operations, and this feature proves to be pretty useful taking into account the amount of data generated by the program. Plus, the generated information can be exported to a plain text file.
All things considered, MiTeC EXE Explorer makes the entire process of getting information about your files seem nothing but a piece of cake.
