Mobile Buddy

Mobile Buddy is designed to connect Mouse Kit to your computer, allowing the easy control of the mouse and the keyboard with the help of a smartphone.
Mouse Kit can be installed on any Android-based or iOS device, transforming it into a wireless mouse or a keyboard. Thus, not only that you can use your phone as a mouse, but you can also type in texts using the built-in keyboard of the handheld device. Furthermore, the app also includes a presentation clicker and allows remote PC controlling, comprising buttons for navigating throughout slideshows.

Quick server setup and configuration

First of all, note that both the server computer and the client device that hosts the mobile app must be connected to the same wireless network for the connection to be successfully established.
Once started, the server runs in the background, but it is visible in the system tray, so you to use the right-click menu to open its main window. The interface is simple and intuitive, only comprising details regarding the server IP address and used port number.

Automatic and manual connection

Mouse Kit and Mobile Buddy are configured to automatically connect with one another. However, in case this doesn't happen automatically, you must enter the IP address and port number of the server in the mobile app and then try to manually connect.
You will know that a client device is connected to the server, since this piece of information is displayed in the main window.

The Mouse Kit app enables you to transform your Android or iOS phone into a wireless mouse and a keyboard, controlling the PC remotely. Thus, you can pause a movie you are watching or control a presentation without requiring a wired mouse.
Mobile Buddy is just the server that allows the connection between the handset and your PC. Configuring it is easy, so it can be done by any user, regardless of their experience.
