MovieTrack Description
MovieTrack is a powerful Windows solution that allows you to catalog all your movies, along with information concerning the actors, genre and plot.
While you can add an unlimited number of entries to the database, the program comes with a user-friendly and quite intuitive interface, although the process of adding a new movie could take some time.
Obviously, inputting movie details is a must, but MovieTrack comes with a dedicated feature to automatically retrieve information on the selected titles from IMDB, so an Internet connection could come in very handy.
Adding a new movie to the database requires the user to fill in a large number of fields, such as genre, director, tagline, plot, actors, language, runtime, video format and number of CDs. Additionally, you can attach your very own trailers and photo galleries, with the common multimedia formats out there supported.
A search function is also available, again with a great amount of options for better results. You can for instance search for title, rating, year or medium, but also look for actors, directors or comments.
Importing is also supported from Excel documents, thus allowing you to add multiple movies to the database with just a few clicks, while exporting can be done to HTML format.
MovieTrack runs on low resources and gets along very well with all Windows iterations, without slowing down the system at all.
All in all, MovieTrack could prove a useful tool for many movie aficionados out there, providing a skinnable interface and plenty of options for all titles.
