MP3Cutter

MP3Cutter is a program with a title that pretty much explains its functionality - it allows you to cut audio files with the MP3 extension.
You'd be surprised to know that MP3Cutter does not require installation. Since it's portable, you can place the app on an external device and run it on any computer. Also, your registry items will remain unchanged.
The interface of the program is standard. You can import MP3s by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method (batch processing is supported).
So, you can play and pause a file, mark the current position, set the mark-in and mark-out position and update the currently playing cue.
Furthermore, you can create a cue list, view project properties, edit the ID3 tags (e.g. title, artist, album), set MP3Cutter to automatically cut an audio track, rename or rescan a file, as well as save the bin and export the file.
The application requires a very low amount of CPU and system memory and includes a “Readme” text document. No errors have occurred during our tests and MP3Cutter didn't freeze or crash. It manages to quickly cut an MP3 file (according to its size).
The bottom line is that MP3Cutter is a very good program for splitting audio files of the MP3 format. It just needs some improvements regarding the interface. Otherwise, we strongly recommend it to all users.
