MultiDoc Description
MultiDoc is a user-friendly and intuitive application that comes with two separate tools, a document editor, and a web browser, both integrated into a single utility. It features several customization and navigational options.
Surf your preferred pages using a clean layout
It's wrapped in an accessible and well-structured interface with each function in its own tab, along with the display type, which lets you switch between one tab or split view. This way, you can surf the Internet and write notes at the same time.
The browser comes with basic navigational controls, like next, back, stop, home, and refresh buttons, and a bookmark directory, to easily store your favorite websites, and access them swiftly. The multi-tab mode is supported, pop-ups can be allowed, however, the home page can't be changed to a custom one.
Customize the text with various colors and protect files with passwords
Regarding the word processor, it offers the basic functions any similar editor would do, such as font types, sizes, styles, and colors, as well as paragraph alignment, and bullet lists. Unfortunately, images, tables, and symbols can't be inserted to fully customize the composition. Plus, the processor's background tone can't be personalized with a specific tint or a picture. A nice touch is the lock option, which seals the text in place, unable to move or edit it.
The selection can be viewed in real time in the left panel, along with zoom, bullet and tab spacing, colors, and history. Content may be pasted from the clipboard into the editor, and further altered. The outputs are saved in TXT, DOC, RTF, INI file formats, and can be protected with a custom password. It would've been nice if the web browser came with an incognito mode, or the ability to view and delete the history.
On an ending note
Taking everything into account, MultiDoc is a useful and approachable program that comes in handy for those who want to compose documents and surf the Internet at the same time.
