My IPs

My IPs is just a basic Windows tool created to show the local and Internet IP addresses of your computer.
The application comes with what can be very well considered a plain and simple interface that easily serves its purpose and brings the provided information right to the user.
For example, both Internet and network information sections are grouped in the main window, so you don’t need more than to launch the app in order to access system details.
My IPs shows local host name, local IP, Internet IP, host name and network details, which include the name of each connected workstation and the used IP.
You can’t do anything else than to refresh the list and get updated information, but My IPs also allows users to save the collected data to TXT for in-depth analyzing.
Besides the lack of some very important features, My IPs may also disappoint some of the users due to the time it needs to scan and retrieve information. Every time you launch the app or hit the “Refresh” button, My IPs needs around one minute to collect updated data.
The app works okay on all Windows workstations and it doesn’t require administrator privileges on Windows 7 machines.
Overall, My IPs is just an interesting project and nothing more. It has the essential features to show your system’s IPs, but it still needs a faster scanning engine and more configuration options to attract both rookies and experienced users.
