MyIPViewer

MyIPViewer is a lightweight and portable piece of software you can use to seamlessly find out your external IP address and LAN adapter IP addresses, enabling you to copy this information to the Clipboard.
It doesn't include complicated options or configuration parameters, making it accessible even to those with little or no experience in networking tools.

View and copy your external IP address

The interface of utility is user-friendly. It consists of a normal window with a simple appearance and neatly structured layout, where your external IP address is auto-identified and displayed at startup.
It can be copied to the Clipboard with the click of a button. Moreover, you can discover the local and external IP addresses of all your LAN adapters.
There are no other noteworthy settings provided by this tool. Unfortunately, it doesn't implement options for printing or exporting these network-related details to file, so you can just write down the LAN adapter info. Moreover, the tool cannot get minimized to the taskbar or system tray, so it's necessary to exit it after getting the necessary info.

Portable application

The entire program's packed in a single .exe file that can be saved to a custom directory on the disk or copied to a USB flash drive, in order to effortlessly launch it on any computer with as little effort as possible.
It doesn't need DLLs or other components to work properly, create files on the HDD without your permission, or add new entries to your system registry. In order to uninstall it, you simply have to delete this executable.

Evaluation and conclusion

It worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or indicate errors. CPU and RAM consumption was minimal, so it didn't hamper the computer's performance.
Although it doesn't come equipped with richer options and configuration settings, MyIPViewer comes bundled with the necessary and suffice tools to help you find out and copy your external IP address.
