NC Import for Bricscad Description
NC Import for Bricscad is a Numeric Control NC program file import plug-in for Bricscad powered applications. This plug-in gives Bricscad powered applications the ability to import geometric data from NC program files. CNC Machines worldwide use Numeric Control files (.nc, .ncc or .cnc) to convert programmed instructions to tool movement. NC programs consist of a sequence of codes with parameter data to arrive at a precise description of the toolpath. NC Import for Bricscad reads NC program files and recreates the toolpath in 3D. NC Import for Bricscad converts the commands in NC files into corresponding line, arc or circle entities and adds them to the active drawing. NC Import for Bricscad is very easy to use. Once installed, it must be loaded into the Bricscad environment. Follow the simple instructions in the ReadMe document which can be found in the installation folder. Once loaded it adds new commands to Bricscads existing commands and a new submenu called "NCImport" to the Bricscad menu containing these newly added commands.
