Thanks to the fact that there's no installation involved, you can drop the executable file in any part of the hard drive and just click it to launch Nic's Encrypter & Decrypter. Another option is to save it to a USB flash drive, in order to directly run it on any machine effortlessly. Unlike most installers, it doesn't change Windows registry settings.

This task is rapidly carried out, even when it comes to large amounts of text. Decryption is just as easily done, and all you need is the correct key. Apart from the fact that you can make a text selection and copy it to the Clipboard by triggering the Copy global hotkey or by opening the right-click menu, there are no other notable options available.

Evaluation and conclusion

There were no issues in our tests, since the application didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages. It left a small footprint on computer performance, running on low CPU and RAM.
On the other hand, Nic's Encrypter & Decrypter has a limited set of options and no configuration parameters for skilled PC users. We must also keep in mind that it hasn't been updated for a long time. Even so, you can test it for yourself.
