No Ping Alert is a handy utility designed to ping a particularÂ IP address or host name at regular intervals and sounds an alarm if the server has not responded after a particular time.
You can optionally have it launch an external program when the alarm fires as well. Configure all the details by editing the file nopingalert.conf
