Notepad Pro

Notepad Pro provides you with an alternative, a replacement for the popular Notepad utility that can be found in every installation of Microsoft’s operating system.
Since 1985, included in the first version of Windows, Notepad has been the first text editor that many of us came in contact with and may also use as the primary application for manipulating plain text files or even code snippets. As a more advanced version of Notepad, Microsoft has integrated the WordPad application in Windows 95 and has done it since then in every new iteration of the OS.
Then, why do programmers and developers try to come up with Notepad alternatives? A simple answer to this question cannot be formed here and now and maybe it has something to do with the fact that people always love and even embrace alternatives because they make them feel different than others who just go with the ideas of the majority.
Even though, in order for an alternative to be successful, it has to come up with a few enhancements, a few twists and, why not one or two new features that really make the difference. In fact, a very good replacement for an application is another application altogether, that has little to do with the original one.
In Notepad Pro’s case, things are pretty clear. There are more promises than actual implemented functions and the only one that really stands out of the crowd, just to say so, is the one you can find within the ‘View’ menu. The ‘Colour Chooser’ can help you rather more slowly than quickly and more clumsy than easily change the color of the whole text and background.
Other than that, Notepad Pro is far from supporting RTF (Rich Text Format) files or even BCF business card design files that it declares it does on the website. All in all, Notepad Pro must provide something to even make up for its title, as its present features lack efficiency and substance. If it is to be updated, hopefully, it may prove to be a competition for Notepad++.
