Compared to the Windows Notepad, this app stands our due to its modern-looking GUI. You may easily change its background color and stylize the font. The program supports text formatting and paragraph alignment to the left / right side or on the center.
Text can be typed or pasted from the Clipboard as well as edited according to your preferences. Alternatively, you can load a local text file, in order to view or modify its contents. While the program’s window can easily be resized, it features no scroll bar. Instead, you have to rely on the up and down arrows to navigate through the lines.

Open and save text files

Notepad can save the current text to a file on your computer but only in .TXT format. On the other hand, files with more types can be opened, namely RTF, TXT, XML and CSV. Aside from the basic text editing functions, the program also enables you to perform multi-level undo actions and select all text. The font and background colors can be changed too, in addition to the lettering style and size.
