The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to start a scan and see if you have any rootkits or malware on it. You will need to pick the scan items, choose from processes, drivers, locked generic files and system files.
There's the option to have the application look in kernel export hooks and SSDT files. The scanning process doesn't take long to complete, but it does depend on the number of files that you have stored on your device.

More features and tools

Once it completed the scanning process, you can view results. It shows you the files that it scanned, together with the viruses that it may find. It comes with a feature that lists driver-supplied callback routines which become notified during process creation, module loading, thread creation etc.
You also have the option to use a tool that performs a system-wide process scan where all loaded modules per process are collected and each loaded module's export table within the respective process is scanned for inline code hooks.
