Ocx,dll register

Ocx,dll register is a Windows application specially designed to register OCX and DLL. This is necessary if you want to get rid of errors referencing to missing libraries, which are required for running some Windows utilities and even third-party programs.

Register missing DLLs or OCXs to run applications

For example, if you don't have Visual C++ Redistributable installed and need it to launch an application, you can go online and look up the library file described in the error dialog, download it, and add it to the system registry using this small-sized tool.

Doesn't need installation

You don't have to install Ocx,dll register because it's not wrapped in a setup kit. Instead, you can copy its .exe file anywhere on the computer and double-click it to open the GUI.
It's also possible to store the executable on a USB flash drive and seamlessly fire it up on any PC to register libraries. Just keep in mind that administrative rights are required for making any tweaks to the Windows registry.

Enter the file name to register the library

The GUI is represented by a small frame that shows the handful of options put at your disposal. It all comes down to entering the name of the file you want to register and clicking the "Register File" button. A message dialog pops up afterward to tell you whether the task was a success or failure.
Keep in mind that the files must have either the DLL or OCX format (as hinted by the program name) and they must exist in the same directory as Ocx,dll register. It's not possible to perform this action if the files are in other folders.

Cannot unregister libraries using this app

Unfortunately, the developer hasn't implemented an option for unregistering OCX or DLL files which already exist in the system registry, which would've been useful if you wished to keep the registry clean of any unused libraries. To do this, you either have to use another program or run /regsvr32 -u library.

Simple GUI for the regsvr32 command

Although Ocx,dll register hasn't received updates for a long time, we didn't have any trouble making it run on Windows 10 in our tests.
It basically provides a graphical interface for the /regsvr32 command, which helps users effortlessly add DLL or OCX libraries to the system registry.
