OpenControl Modbus Ethernet OPC Server comes with internal device simulator to help configure and develop the project before site deployment, further the simulated device tags can also be used for value place holders for various OPC Clients. OpenControl Modbus Ethernet OPC Server also supports OPC XML-DA wrapper that is key for connection to platform independent applications and clients over the Intranet/Internet and Firewalls. The OpenControl Modbus Ethernet OPC Server product contains two parts: a user interface configuration module and the actual OPC server, the runtime module. The configuration module allows you to create a database that holds configuration data of the tags. Such as the tag name, the ranging, and the alarm settings. The runtime module uses a runtime database to access the actual values of the tags configured.
