Orion

Orion is a tiny and portable software application you can use to encrypt sensitive files using passwords or other files as keys. This way, you can keep valuable information safe if you fear hackers may infiltrate your computer, as well as send it over insecure wireless networks.

Portable utility with a simple GUI

The program is wrapped into one .exe file that you can save anywhere on the disk or copy to a detachable storage unit to seamlessly launch it on any computer without setup. It doesn't integrate new entries into the registry or generate any files on the disk without asking for your permission.

Protect files using passwords

You can resort to the integrated file browser to locate the file you're attempting to encrypt, along with the name and destination of the new, protected file. It shall have the .oc type. Since this is Orion's proprietary format, items can only be decrypted using this program.
Any password can be set to encrypt files, regardless of the number and type of characters used. However, it's recommended to maximize protection by opting for a long secret code made from upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols.

Protect files using cyber keys

Otherwise, it's possible to assign any file as the cyber key used for encrypting and decrypting an item. This means that, instead of a passphrase, you have to point out to the cyber key to be able to access the private contents. It can be separately saved in .ck format for safekeeping.
