OziSounder Description

OziSounder is program that will read the DBT or DPT NMEA depth sentences arriving on a serial port, processes the strings, and then send the information to OziExplorer using the OziExplorer API. It is assumed device outputting the depth sentences is connected to a different port to the GPS if they are connected to the same port. It can read the DBT or DPT NMEA sentences direct without using OziSounder, but the DBT/DPT sentences and the GPS sentences must both come in via the same serial port.
