ozSync

ozSync is a program that you can use to synchronize data between two locations on your hard drive.
This is a portable software, so there is no need to install ozSync. You can simply place it on a removable drive and directly run the executable file on any computer. More importantly, your Windows registry entries will not be changed.
The tool comes with a user-friendly interface in which you can add a new item by specifying a name, comment, source and target directory, file marks and mode (backup, bidirectional, ZIP).
But you can also include subfolders, backup changes and disable ozSync from erasing extra target files.
In the main list you can check out the item name, last date of synchronization and information of each task, so batch processing is supported.
Furthermore, you can edit task details, log operations and verbose, view progress, set ozSync to beep when it's done, enable safe mode, and others.
The application runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and quickly synchronizes data. ozSync did not freeze or crash during our tests. However, it failed to complete a task (in backup mode) during our tests. Also, there is no help file available and the interface needs some major improvements since it is outdated.
Nevertheless, ozSync can be easily used by individuals of any experience level (be careful with the settings though, or you will end up deleting some valuable files like we did) and we strongly recommend it to all users.
