PDF Gallery Description
PDF Gallery is an intuitive piece of software that enables you to put together PDF galleries by merging multiple image files. It offers support for JPG, JPEG, PNG and BMP formats.
Simple setup and GUI
After a fast setup operation, you're greeted by simple interface represented by a user-friendly window with a ribbon bar, where you can start a new project by adding the pictures you wish to include in the gallery.
It's possible to preview a selected photo in the default graphic viewer, view their name, format and full path, and indicate a folder whose containing photos you want to include in the task, provided that they have supported extensions. They can be re-arranged in any order in the gallery.
Set output PDF options
In the following step, you can configure PDF settings when it comes to the left, right, top and bottom margins, as well as instruct the tool to save every image to a separate PDF instead of combining all of them, and create the PDF in the same location as the source or somewhere else.
Furthermore, you can adjust the photo quality by moving a slider, stretch small pics if necessary, as well as opt for a portrait or landscape page layout. The filename can be set too.
Evaluation and observations
It carried out tasks swiftly in our tests while remaining light on resources usage, since it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. No error dialogs were displayed and it didn't freeze or crash.
On the other hand, it failed to complete some jobs without signaling any issues. We must also take into account that PDF Gallery hasn't been updated for a long time and likely has compatibility issues with later Windows models.
Conclusion
All in all, PDF Gallery provides you with a straightforward method for creating PDF galleries from common image files, as long as you don't encounter any stability issues as we did.
