PDF Splitter and Merger is an application which allows you to easily cut and join PDF documents. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
The interface of PDF Splitter and Merger is plain and simple to work with. PDF files can be imported into the list via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not allowed in case of file splitting.
So, once you have selected the source file, you can choose the splitting method (into a give number of pages or by page range) and set the destination folder and filename in order to initiate the splitting process.
The merging task is similar and PDF Splitter and Merger allows you to preview files and move items up and down in the list.
The simple-to-use program requires a moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots for novices, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good quality regarding shapes, images and the text layout.
No errors have occurred during our tests and PDF Splitter and Merger did not freeze or crash. Apart from the fact that the interface is outdated and that you cannot configure program settings, we strongly recommend PDF Splitter and Merger to all users.
