PFind Description
Having to work with pictures requires you to install several processing and sorting applications. You might stumble upon PFind, which puts a handful of tools at your disposal with the help of which you can easily create and manage a database in which your pictures are kept safe.
View and edit your images
Running the application inevitably brings up the main window. You need to spend some time and learn your way around, because the interface might prove a little difficult to work with. Unfortunately, the only way to add files is through the dedicated menu, with no possibility or simply drag elements over the main window.
An integrated feature lets you enhance pictures with several effects. This is done by carefully adjusting sliders for brightness, contrast, RGB as well as a few more options. Unfortunately, you are not able to save configurations for later use, nor are there any presets available.
Multiple options to work with
Several tabs are home to all features the application puts at your disposal. Amongst pattern configuration and an advanced search engine, which can be set to fetch images according to multiple criteria, you manage to find an image grabber.
You are able to browse through a decent list of photo web sites, with the possibility to get ahold of any item of interest. Moreover, you are able to add a custom website from which to get ahold of desired pictures.
To end with
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that PFind tries to put various image handling tools at your disposal but does not really know how. You feel lost most of the times and overwhelmed with options or windows that seem not to serve any purpose. Several of its features provide a great amount of help in editing metadata and color management, but only if you give it enough time.
