Picture Sorter Description
Picture Sorter is a small application that allows you to catalogue large amounts of pictures. Choose a folder that contains your pictures. All pictures are displayed on a stack. You can define or create a target folder for every picture. Folders that already exist are shown inside the target folder. New folders can be created extremely quick. All pictures can get sorted, skipped or deleted. You can use the Undo function to correct errors, even if the picture has already been deleted.
Of course youll get Picture Sorter as ad-free freeware. Picture Sorter for Windows includes a simple setup and a help file which explains all features. Please note that Picture Sorter is currently only available in a German language version. Why did I create this application? There are a few similar tools, but I needed an application that allowed me to achieve results through a single click. I didnt want hotkeys or countless submenus. Its about sorting, nothing more. Some tools can rotate pictures or read meta data. But this means that youre going to need a minute per picture to sort it into a folder. Just leaning back and clicking a folder seemed much more convenient to me than having to access a menu with 100 options per picture. Have you ever had to work with 30,000 pictures in a single folder? Thats no problem for modern digital cameras, but do you really need to perfectly scale, rotate, remove red eyes and edit meta data for every picture if the only thing you want is getting them sorted? There are other tools for that! Its about the basics und those have to get done fast. Cars to cars, dogs to dogs, S... to S... - Sorting can be so easy.
