Portable Application Inventory

Whenever you try to uninstall applications from your computer, there are some that don't quite make it to the Control Panel's section. However, there are some applications that could help you with that.
One of them is Portable Application Inventory. It's a neat software solution that creates a detailed list with all installed applications on your computer.

The application doesn't require any installation, because it's portable and you can use it on any computer and store it on your USB drive.
It doesn't come with the option to change the skin of the interface or the color, but you wouldn't really need such a tool since it comes with a really intuitive and clean graphical interface.

Create a list with applications on your computer

It comes with the option to search for installed applications on any of your hard drives, you can add whichever directory you want from your computer. It also cross-checks shortcuts and the registry for installed applications.
You can specify certain folder paths, use filters for strings and exclude or include applications that contain certain strings. It also allows you to filter the columns that you would like to include in the list. You can view information on the file, internal name, copyright, product name, version, date/time, size, company and path.

Print your application list easily

The scanning process doesn't take long, but that also depends on how many applications you have installed on your computer.
Simply click on an application in order to open the file path and you can get references to the program, including shortcuts that lead to the installed software solution. It also displays detailed file properties and it allows you to save the list on your computer. You can also print the list of installed applications.
All in all, Portable Application Inventory is a useful application for scanning and retrieving a list of all programs installed on your computer. However, it doesn't allow you to uninstall them.
