Portable Easy Random Picker

This is the portable counterpart of Easy Random Picker, a program that provides a simple means of choosing winners from a list of people in random order. It has a pleasant interface and intuitive options to help users accomplish this task in no time.

Portability perks

Since there is no installation involved, you can extract the program files to a custom directory on the hard disk and just click the executable to run.
There is also the possibility to save Easy Random Picker to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no prior installer.
What's more, the app does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving no traces behind after its removal.

Organized and straightforward interface

The main app window contains two panels for adding competitors and making extractions, respectively. After importing a text document, each line will be accompanied by a number in the frame, thus enabling you to specify a range to parse.
It is possible to pick the number of allowed winners, allow duplicates, enable visual effects, as well as create a list of exceptions (e.g. if they have already won previously). Extractions are performed with the click of a button, and you can export information to a plain text document for further analysis and safekeeping.

Performance and conclusion

The program does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. We have not encountered any types of issues during our evaluation, since the tool did not hang, crash or display error messages. All in all, Easy Random Picker gets the job done and can be used by anyone.
