Portable PDFTK Builder Description
This is the portable edition of PDFTK Builder - a lightweight utility that lets you perform several operations on PDF files, such as merging and splitting. It is simple to work with it, regardless of the user's skill level.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can simply extract the program files to any location on the hard disk and run the executable immediately.
As an alternative, you can move PDFTK Builder to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, and run it on any workstation with minimum effort.
It is important to keep in mind that the Windows Registry section does not get entry updates, and files do not remain on the hard disk after removing the program.
The interface of the tool is based on a standard window with an uncomplicated layout, where you can load as many PDFs as you want into the workspace, using either the file browser or drag-and-drop function.
You can join and split PDFs, arrange pages or remove specific ones, set an owner and user password, establish permissions (e.g. printing, assembly, copy contents, screen readers), apply a background or stamp, as well as rotate pages.
PDFTK Builder is very light on the system resources, using a minimal amount of CPU and memory. It has a good response time and carries out a task rapidly and without errors. The tool did not hang or crash in our tests. Although it has not been updated for a pretty long time, PDFTK Builder offers a simple solution to performing various operations on PDFs.
