Portable Free Clipboard Viewer is a reliable tool that displays the contents of the clipboard, for you to view and export. Moreover, the application allows you to analyze the content of the clipboard, whether it is a piece of text, a URL, a file or a folder. You can also view the information as Unicode, HEX or Locale Identifier.

Adapt analysis options based on the copied item

Portable Free Clipboard Viewer allows you to preview the contents of the clipboard, regardless of the copied item. The program can display the items currently stored in the clipboard, whether it is a piece of text, a file or a folder and adapts the analysis options based on this criteria.
The application can detect when the contents of the clipboard are replaced and instantly updates the displayed text. For example, while the Preview, DataObject and Ole Private Data parameters are common to both text and files, most of the available tools for analysis change based on the copied item.

Analysis options for the clipboard contents

Portable Free Clipboard Viewer allows you to preview any text that you copy to the clipboard and easily convert it to other modes: Unicode, Locale Identifier, OEM, HEX or RichEdit Binary. You may switch to DataObject, FileContents, FileGroupDescriptor and UniformResourceLocator in the case of URLs.
Additionally, in case of files, you may convert the contents of the clipboard to Shell IDList Array, FileName, List of Files, DataObjectAttributes or UIDisplayed. You may also change the encoding algorithm of the displayed content, to one of the supported options.

Export clipboard contents

Portable Free Clipboard Viewer allows you to save the current configuration to a .CL7 file, which you may load at any later time. It does not feature other exporting functions, however, copying the displayed contents is permitted. Moreover, the program allows you to clean the whole or a portion of the clipboard contents.
