Portable RegTickPro

This is the portable edition of RegTickPro, a tool designed to help you make some modifications to the Windows Registry settings in a simple manner. It can be easily used.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can simply drop the program files anywhere on the hard drive and run the executable item directly.
As an alternative, you can save RegTickPro to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any computer with minimum effort.
The interface of the application is based on a standard window with a well-organized layout, where you can select Registry areas from a list, such as Start menu, Control Panel, desktop, Internet Explorer options, network, media and security.
It is possible to hide the Favorites section and Find function from the Start menu (for all users or just the current one), disable the Display and Add Printer areas of Control Panel, as well as disable Active Desktop and hide the My Computer and My Documents shortcuts on the desktop.
But you may also disable MS Registry Tools and the context menu, enable the CD-ROM autorun features, restrict Author Mode in MMC, specify a time interval for the local time to synchronize with an online time server, disable Messaging in Internet Explorer, tweak the broadband connection, as well as clear the PageFile when the computer powers off, among dozens of other options.
RegTickPro is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system area, has a good response time and immediately applies changes to the workstation. We have not encountered any issues throughout our evaluation, since the utility did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, Portable RegTickPro gives users the possibility of tweaking their operating system through a friendly environment.
