Postscript Viewer

Text documents are usually bundled in a format which is either suitable for editing, or reading, with advanced security options. Some types require dedicated viewers, which is also the case with PostScript files. However, Postscript Viewer can easily force any PDF viewer to open, and properly display content of any PS file.
The core function of Postscript Viewer is to provide easy preview of PS files directly in a preferred, and already installed PDF viewer. Needless to say that a PDF viewer needs to be on the target computer, regardless of type, with suitable examples like Adobe Acrobat Reader, Foxit Reader, or Nitro Reader.
PostScript files aren’t exactly ready right after download. However, a simple workaround is to choose psview.exe as the default program associated with PS files to minimize effort later on. Another method of opening PS files, but without modifying the default program is to drop the target PS file over Postscript Viewer’s executable.
Note that the original PostScript file doesn’t undergo any changes whatsoever. The way in which any PDF viewer can display content of PS files is through a quick background conversion into a PDF file.
