PowDLL Converter

As the name suggests, PowDLL Converter is designed to convert files of a format into a different one. However, its target are not files an average user would work with but powder diffraction files.
These include diffraction patterns and the basic properties of various chemical elements and compounds.

Fast and easy installation process

The application does not require too much time to install and the process can be completed by any user, regardless of their computer knowledge. In order to have the program up and running, .NET Framework files need to be available on the system.
The interface is straightforward and provides two panels, one for converting a single file and the other for carrying out the process with multiple items at the same time.

Simple conversion operation, support for a large number of files

Regardless of the choice, both procedures are just as easy to complete: simply input the source file(s) and the output location and format.
The application offers support for a wide range of diffraction files, from Bruker, STOE, Scintag, Rigaku and Shimadzu RAW to Philips RD/SD, Sietronics, DBW, GSAS STD/ESD, Rigaku RIG, UXD, XDD or XPowder files. The list is not limited to these alone, though.
As far as the options are concerned, PowDLL provides the possibility to define the default K-alpha values, secure the source data against overwriting as well as ignore a certain number of lines from the header.
Moreover, you can take a look at the pattern preview and check the chart properties or select a specific anode.
