PureSurf Desktop provides affordable Internet filtering to protect your family from inappropriate, sexually questionable and offensive content, illegal downloads, spyware, online predators, and cyberbullies. The Active Content Recognition technology offers complete Internet coverage protection by scanning pages in real-time and categorizing content as Adult (sex or porn), Gambling, Violence, Weapons, Hate, Drugs, Dating, Chat, Forums, Social Networks, Blogs, and more. Parents choose which categories are not allowed to define the online experience for theirs children. Block access or restrict time on Facebook, MySpace and other social networks or stop all popular Instant Messaging ( IM ) and Peer-to-Peer ( P2P ) protocols is easy. If you choose to allow IM access, you can filter conversation keywords and phrases from Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Messenger ( MSN ), and ICQ / AOL. This will allow you to block telephone numbers, your home address, and other private information. Receive alerts via e-mail directly on your mobile phone from content access violations, unsuccessful overrides, tampering, and keyword/phrase detection.
