QPlayer

If you spend a little time to search the Internet you will come across a large amount of different applications that can play music. QPlayer is one of them and tries to keep up with its competitors.

Play your favorite tunes

The application lets you open a large amount of file types, so you won't feel restrained if you prefer a certain format for your music. Like most music players you can make use of playlists for easier access, which are saved as tabs, found in the upper part of the main window, so you can open them with just a click.
In addition to the playlist, there is also something called the “MemoryList”. You can choose to send songs to it, save it for later use, and even automatically remove them once played. What it basically represents is a temporary playlist you organize, in case you only want to listen to specific songs in a given time.

Make it any color you want

From the “Setting” menu, you are given a few customization options. By default it's got several color schemes to choose from, but you can always make it so that it perfectly suit your desktop. Given the transparency slider you can perfectly blend it in.
Other than what is mentioned above, the application offers little else. There is no equalizer to better enhance your music, and the interface can be a little difficult to navigate through at first.

In conclusion

QPlayer is merely a mediocre racer in the running competition for media players. If you are tempted to try out something new you might as well give this application a try. It does not occupy space on your hard disk drive for no reason, but nor does it impress with any particular features it has to offer.
