Quick Slide Show

Quick Slide Show is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to create a slideshow from your favorite images.
The interface of the program is plain and easy to navigate through. You can import pictures by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
So, you can set the width and height of the slideshow, as well as number of frames per seconds.
But you can also add borders (line or frame), set an image's position, select the transitions' style and set their speed, as well as add text and sound.
Furthermore, you can change the background color or replace it with an image, add a background sound, as well as enable the slideshow to go to an URL or to the next frame on mouse click.
In addition, you can set the image quality, enable random order and select the playback style (e.g. pause at last image), choose the preloading theme, use addons, and more.
Once you are satisfied with the results, you can specify the destination folder, name and format (SWF, EXE or screensaver) of the new file, in order to proceed with the building process. The program takes up a moderate amount of system resources and includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots.
However, Quick Slide Show offers pretty modest features that make room for major improvements. Even so, we haven't come across any problems during our tests and mainly recommend Quick Slide Show to first-time users.
