When it comes to system memory, RAM Inspector is one of the tools that could really lend us a help, as it was specifically designed to provide a great amount of information.
It’s not difficult to use, although some of the terms used in the program may sound like rocket science to many beginners out there.
The application’s GUI is more like a one-window interface, with an appealing look that makes reading the RAM details a breeze.
It shows not only the total physical memory, but also the free amount and the free percentage, as well the used amount, used percentage and status. Page file details are also available, including total, available and status figures.
There are dedicated graphs to show free and used physical memory, used page file and CPU usage, all comprised in the appealing one-window GUI we were talking about a bit earlier.
What’s more, RAM Inspector also shows CPU information, including the number of cores, manufacturers, model, speed and socket.
The good thing is that RAM Inspector remains very friendly with hardware resources, but it’s very important to note that this application is solely a system information tool, so no other features are available. Which means that no, you can’t free up RAM and boost system performance.
All things considered, if you’re looking for a lightweight app that comes at no cost and provides memory information, RAM Inspector clearly deserves a chance.
