Register Tool

Register Tool is a lightweight and portable software application whose purpose is to quickly register and unregister DLL files and ActiveX controls.
Advanced users with command-line experience may manually do this, while novices can rely on this small tool to do the job.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file to any location on the hard disk and just click it to run.
There is also the possibility of saving Register Tool to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.
What's important is that the Windows registry does not get updated with new entries, and files are not left behind on the HDD after program removal.
At startup, Register Tool pops up a small window on the bottom-right corner of the screen. It stays on top of other frames and can be moved anywhere on the desktop.
Two buttons enable you to quickly register and unregister DLL and OCX files, using either the file browser or drag-and-drop method. Batch processing is supported, meaning that you can work with multiple selected items at the same time. Command lines are available as well.
Register Tool does not put a strain on computer performance, since it uses low CPU and RAM. It carries out a task quickly and without error. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. To sum it up, Register Tool delivers a straightforward solution to registering and unregistering DLL and OCX files.
