Reset TCPIP Description

Reset TCPIP is a small-sized, free and portable Windows app that comprises just few but easy-to-use functions for resetting TCP/IP settings to their initial parameters, in case connection issues have occurred. It basically provides a workaround for manually doing this, especially when user experience with TCP/IP is minimal.
As installation is not a necessity, you can drop the executable file in any location on the hard disk and just click it to run. It is also possible to save Reset TCPIP to a pen drive or other removable storage unit, in order to run it on any PC fast, without previously installing anything.
In addition, the Windows registry is not updated with new keys, and no new files are created on the disk, leaving it clean after deleting the program.
As far as the interface is concerned, Reset TCPIP has a plain, yet neat structure, where direct access is provided to all main components. It is possible to renew the IP configuration, reset the TCP/IP interface, repair WinSock, as well as to restart after reset. You can select one, more or all options and apply the new modifications with the click of a button. There are no other notable settings provided by this tool.
Reset TCPIP commits changes rapidly and without error. It has a good response time and leaves minimal footprint on system performance, using low CPU and memory. There were no problems throughout our evaluation, and the tool did not hang or crash. However, users should keep in mind that Reset TCPIP merely deals with common TCP/IP issues, addressing those which can be otherwise fixed through Windows' default options.
