Portable utility with a simple GUI

The application has three preset profiles lined up, enabling you to quickly make the pictures small (800x600), medium (1024x768) or large (1600x1200). If you're not satisfied with these settings, you can specify the maximum or exact width and weight. The photos can be previewed during processing.
It can keep or disregard the aspect ratio, resize even when the new size equals the old one, create new files or process the original JPEGs, retain the original timestamp although this slows down the task, and automatically exit on completion. Moreover, although it's portable, you can integrate the utility into the Windows Explorer right-click menu for fast access.

Evaluation and conclusion

It resized photographs rapidly in our tests while remaining light on system resources consumption. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.
