Romanian Language Pack Description
Romanian Language Pack is a web browser extension specially designed for Mozilla Firefox, which implements the Romanian language into the application to translate all UI elements. It's geared toward Romanian PC users looking to replace the English or other languages.
In order to install this add-on, you can simply run the .xpi file downloaded with Firefox, or drop it into Mozilla's web browser if you obtained it with another tool.
Set up and configure the language pack
In the following stage, it's necessary type "about:config" in the address bar, along with "locale" in the search box to filter shown details, in order to locate the "general.useragent.locale" preference name and modify its value to "ro" from the right-click menu. Restarting Firefox to commit the new modifications is required.
From this point on, all of Firefox's menus and buttons are displayed in the Romanian language, together with the help manual. This setting can be undone by taking the same steps, if you change your mind.
Evaluation and conclusion
Romanian Language Pack didn't burden the web browser's performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM. It worked smoothly, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or prompt error messages. Web developers, programmers and other expert users are free to investigate the app's source code.
On the other hand, the add-on hasn't been updated for a long time and isn't compatible with the latest Firefox editions. However, if you use an older model and are looking for an alternative UI language, then Romanian Language Pack can become useful. There are also older editions of this extension, compatible with even older Firefox models, which is especially helpful for Windows XP users.
