Rozeta

Rozeta is a lightweight Windows application designed to help you plot rose diagrams useful in the structural geology field, as they provide data about the frequency of lineations in a given direction.
Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to design rose diagrams on the breeze.
Rozeta sports a clean and straightforward layout that allows users to create a new rose diagram by settings the graph size, and selecting the colors for the main and secondary lines, as well as filling colors and styles.
What’s more, you can manually configure the coordinates, customize the text messages in terms of font and size, as well as check out a log for possible errors.
The application gives users the possibility to import data from ROZ, TXT, or DAT file format, view azimuth data, switch to a full screen mode, and select between several preset rose diagrams.
The generated diagram can be copied to the Clipboard, exported to WMF or HTML file format, or printed.
During our testing we have noticed that Rozeta carries out a task quickly, provides very good image quality, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on the system resources, so it doesn’t hamper computer performance, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
To sum things up, Rozeta comes packed with limited features for helping you design rose diagrams.
