Installing the app takes little time and does not require special attention. You are greeted by a standard window with a clean aspect, where you can manually type the text to scroll or load content from a plain text document. It can be also be saved to file for future sessions.
Previewing the words is possible on the bottom part of the panel. The program is light on the system resources, running on low CPU and RAM. It does not affect overall performance. We have not come across any problems in our tests, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages.
To sum it up, Scrolling Teleprompter Software sports a user-friendly workspace and intuitive settings for creating scrolling text in a teleprompter in full screen. Its lack of advanced customization options is a downside to experienced users, though.
