Setup Editor

Setup Editor is a straightforward software application which lets you create simple setup packs for your programs, as the name suggests. It can be seamlessly handled by users who don't want to hassle a long list of customization settings.
The app is wrapped in a standard interface with an uncomplicated layout. Therefore, users with no experience in programming languages should be able to quickly figure out this tool's features.
So, you can write the title, notes and text to be displayed in the dialog, as well as specify the output profile and enable Setup Editor to use compression.
On the bottom part of the screen, you can insert, customize and run scripts, after adding the program files and folders. It is possible to save the project to file, in order to make additional adjustments in the future. Alternatively, you can create a SFX Zip file.
The software tool requires a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, is pretty responsive to key strokes and mouse events, and includes a ReadMe file. We have not experienced any issues throughout our testing; Setup Editor did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. However, Setup Editor has not been updated for a very long time.
