Simnor World Clock Description

Sure enough, there are only 24 hours in a day, but these are displayed differently throughout the world, and this is simply to make the most out of daylight. As such, you might be interested in the exact time of a particular city, especially if you plan to travel. This is where Simnor World Clock comes in handy, making it possible to view the time in different parts of the world.

Clock displayed in a 12 hour format

Although the application is packed inside an installer, you can also deploy it on a thumb drive, because it doesn’t bind itself to system registry entries, thus making it possible to use it on other computers. Note, however, that the computer you use it on needs to be equipped with .NET Framework, because it’s a mandatory requirement for functionality.
Once setup is over, you have the chance to launch it right afterwards. A compact window shows up, and it’s configured to read the system time by default, showing it in a 12 hour format as a digital clock. Right below the clock you find a drop-down menu which holds multiple entries with cities over the world to tell time.

Lets you choose from a preset list of locations

On the bright side of things, you don’t depend on an active Internet connection to have time displayed, because values are automatically calculated by the application according to your system configuration. However, this means that you’re not able to synchronize your computer’s clock.
Unfortunately, Simnor World Clock might not meet all your demands. In other words, it comes with a preset list of entries, namely 21 different cities across the world. Although these are found in different time zones, you might not be able to tell the zone based on a particular entry. Sadly, you can’t manually look up a location of interest.

To end with

Taking everything into consideration, we can state that Simnor World Clock comes with good intentions, but isn’t really packed with the appropriate set of features to help in all situations. You can’t search for a location of your choice, so you need to be lucky to find it in the preset list of cities.
