Simple Countdown

Simple Countdown is an easy to configure Qt program that can display several countdown bars and notify you when the time is up. The software can indicate the passing time with a colored bar and reaching the deadline with an alarm. You may set the application to countdown minutes, days or even years.

Easy to configure timer

When you open it for the first time, Simple Countdown displays a timer template, which is written in Qt code and stored in the CounterBarParam.xml file. The file can be found in the same folder as the application and can be opened with any text editor, including Notepad. This XML file determines the functionality of the software, meaning that you need to write the desired code within it and save the changes.
The software can be configured by any user, regardless of their knowledge of the Qt language. The provided example is more than enough, in order to setup other timers. You may duplicate the snippet and change its values, so that they fit your requirements. Thus, you may set the application to display a series of timers in its interface, each with different parameters.

Countdown options

Simple Countdown can measure the remaining time to any event, whether it is minutes away from the current time or even years. The software displays the time elapsed as progress in a dedicated bar. It also indicates the ending time and date at the top of the progress bar, along with a percentage counter and the starting time.

Remaining time notifier

The remaining time is displayed at the top of the window, next to the percentage indicator, as a countdown timer. Moreover, while the progress bar is green, you can set the software to color the last few hours/minutes of the remaining time in red. This way, you may be alerted when the due time is near. Additionally, you may set an alarm to go off when the countdown is finished.
