The straightforward software tool is low-demanding regarding the CPU and system memory, hence it doesn't hog the computer's resources. It was very responsive to commands and didn't cause us any difficulties throughout our tests, like hanging, crashing or popping up error notifications. On the downside, Simple IP Camera Recorder has not been updated for a pretty long time.
