Skynet Edge is an application designed to help you get in touch with your friends on Google Hangouts and share screenshots, files and all sorts of documents in a simple manner.

Clean interface, but slightly disorganized

It is necessary to mention that you are required to enter your Google account in order to use the utility. After a quick and uneventful installation, you can access the application from the System Tray. Once you connect, you can create Hangouts groups or add colleagues and friends with whom you commonly share funny memes along with documents, pictures or screenshots with your desktop.
Depending on the action you want to perform, the app opens a new window, a feature that can become irritating when you have multiple conversations or receive and open more files at the same time. It would be nice if the utility came with a framed UI that enables you to organize groups, chats and the files you receive from one location.

Allows seamless file sharing

The trump card of the application comes from the numerous files you can share with an individual user or  a group. To put it simply, you can send and receive snapshots, photos, databases, documents and even larger files, such as Google Docs, for instance. You should know the app supports most file formats, so you are not restricted in any way,
Although it also enables reliable real-time conversations, the utility lacks emoticons, a feature that most users enjoy using frequently to spice up their conversations. On the other hand, the tool enables you to create custom memes quite easily by selecting one of the numerous templates available and entering the desired text.

Could use a better UI, but it is a good tool for file sharing

In spite of the fact that it could be more organized, the application really shines when it comes to sharing a broad variety of data.
