Snowy Owls Theme

The theme runs solely on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 and it can be installed by simply double-clicking on the downloaded pack. The Personalization section of the Control Panel is launched and users can preview the contents of the installed theme.
Each of the seven included wallpapers depicts a snowy owl, a special type of large owl that is typically found in the Arctic tundra of the northernmost regions of Canada, Alaska, Europe and Asia. The feathers are mostly white, which helps the birds camouflage better and escape predators.
Most of the owls depicted in this theme are sitting and scrutinizing the surroundings for hidden perils, thus making sure they can protect their nest in case any predators decide to attack. However, there is also an image showing a snowy owl during flight, and users will surely appreciate its grace and elegance.
The theme automatically changes the color of taskbar and of the windows so to get the PC in tune with the shades used within the shots taken by photographer Christopher D. Elliott.
Depending on their tastes, users can set the wallpapers to rotate after a few minutes, or they can change the desktop background every time their computer is launched.
