Srt2Sup Description
As the name implies, Srt2Sup is a program which allows you to turn SubRipper files (SRT) into IfoEdit items (SUP). It can be used by individuals of any level of experience. The app can also process Native S2S files.
The interface of the application is based on a plain and outdated window where you can open a SRT item (as text or Bitmap) by using only the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' method is not supported.
Before proceeding with the conversion job, you can configure several settings. For example, you can set the subtitle type (Bitmap or text) and time on/off, move the selected subtitle, as well as alter the subtitle layout (e.g. vertical and horizontal alignment, target width, automatic word wrap).
In addition, you can append files as text or Bitmaps, use a search function and sort items by time. Several configurable global settings are available when it comes to the background, outline, text and anti-alias color, markers, font justification and screen format, among others. Options may be reset to their default values.
The app runs on a pretty low amount of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't put a strain on the computer. It is very responsive to key strokes and mouse commands. No error notifications have been shown during our testing and Srt2Sup did not freeze or crash. However, the program has not been updated for a very long time, which explains its outdated appearance.
