Standard Desktop Clock-7

Sometimes, working on your computer requires your full attention, thus preventing you from changing your focus to other areas, such as the date or time.
Fortunately, you can rely on third-party software to bring some of these elements back into your focus. One of the applications that can help you do that is Standard Desktop Clock-7.

Rudimentary interface

This application allows you to display a simple analog clock on your desktop and adjust a few parameters, mostly aspect-related.
The Options window can be accessed by right-clicking either the clock or its corresponding icon in the system tray.

Basic clock widget

Apart from displaying a clock widget on your desktop, this application has a rather limited functionality. You cannot customize the look of the clock, apart from changing its size. However, resizing it can be done exclusively from the Options window by choosing from a list of preset values, as the program does not support manual size changing.
You can change its position by freely dragging the clock across your screen. However, moving your mouse fast while dragging can cause the widget to get suddenly dropped. If you want to restore it to its original location, you can right-click it and select the “Set default placement” option.

Limited configuration possibilities

The Options window allows you to modify a few parameters, such as displaying the widget upon system start, setting it always to be on top of other windows and toggling the visibility of its second hand.
Unfortunately, you cannot set an alarm or a custom reminder, as this application does not provide support for this feature.
To sum it up, Standard Desktop Clock-7 is a simple application that displays an analog clock widget on your desktop and allows you to customize some of its parameters. However, note that it does not support additional features, such as setting alarms or reminders and dragging it might not run as smoothly as expected.
