Subvideo Description
SubVideo is a reliable program, dedicated to converting video files to XviD format and add subtitles to them. The application can help you convert a large range of video files into a widely supported format, for several media player software and devices. Moreover, you can add subtitles straight to the video.SubVideo supports a large array of video files, in various formats, for conversion to XviD. It allows you to modify the audio and video quality, as well as to select which type of output file you wish the program to create: high definition or standard definition. The conversion process can take longer, depending on the settings you make. You may also select a few options regarding the subtitles, such as location on the screen, whether or not to use background for the lines, the font, color and size. The software allows you to set the subtitle in nine points on the screen, which you can choose with one mouse click. You may select from the available options, for audio and video bit rate.
SubVideo is simple to use, allows you to set all the preferences from the main screen and features a file filter, for the supported input types. In other words, only the supported files are displayed in the source folders, so it can make it easier for you to select. You can enable or disable the subtitle option, as well as set the priority of the conversion compared to other system processes. Moreover, the info strip at the bottom of the window displays the progression, in percentage, the file size and video duration.Small application with high potential. While still in the experimental phase, SubVideo shows potential, the process is quick and you have control over several output options. Unlike other similar converters, SubVideo does not feature the video previewing function, which explains the smaller size and little strain put on the system processor.
