Syspeace Description
Similar to traveling the streets at night, the Internet also poses a constant threat not only to your computer's integrity, but also your personal life. Virtual attacks are nearly impossible to detect, but with the help of applications such as Syspeace you can stay one step ahead of potential attackers or hackers by simply preventing access to your computer.
Retrieve lists of globally banned IPs with the help of easy to setup app
The application takes little time to deploy and once it's done, you can fire up its services. This must be done manually from the compact interface, which also displays a list of IP addresses either from custom lists or ones used globally. You can also leave the Windows Firewall active because the application does not trigger any issues.
Reaching the good side of features, the application connects to the Internet in order to retrieve a list of globally known and banned IP addresses. You can easily view details, when and if the ban expires, as well as the possibility to add either of the entries to a personal blacklist or whitelist to lift any restrictions, although not recommended.
Configure blocking rules and notifications
Most options are found in the settings menu. This puts a series of rules, IP lists configurations, blocks and analysis, as well as management options at your disposal. What's more, configuring your SMTP settings allows you to receive alerts whenever attempts are made.
Custom rules can be applied, with the possibility to handle configurations for Windows login, SMTP exchange, as well as SQL server in order to specify what data to look for, collect, analyze and block if necessary.
To end with
Taking everything into consideration, we come to the conclusion that Syspeace might not be the best of its kind, but it's recommended in environments that handle classified or sensitive data on a daily basis. The application does not really offer a sense of protection, but it's better not to be a victim than receive notifications that you are.
