What’s more, you are allowed to select the update time, pick between different preset animation themes or specify a user-defined directory where the files are stored, and monitor the CPU for multiple cores.
Another important feature worth mentioning is represented by the possibility to apply special animation filters (e.g. blur, matrix). On the downside, the configuration panel needs some improvements to make the process more intuitive, as rookies may spend some time trying to set up the dedicated parameters.
Additional options enable you to select the size of the gadget (small or large), choose the opacity level, as well as make the tool remain on top of other utilities. Plus, you are allowed to move the widget to any area of the screen.
During our testing we have noticed that System Animator carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, so the overall performance of the computer is not affected.
